JSE-listed Alphamin Resources produced 17 324 t of tin for the year ended December 31, a 38% increase from the previous year and within the guidance range of 17 000 t to 18 000 t.
The company attributes the increase to production from the Mpama South expansion, which was completed during the second quarter of 2024.
Alphamin has set its production guidance for this year at about 20 000 t of contained tin, with the full-year output again expected to benefit from the Mpama South expansion.
Tin sales for the 2024 financial year, meanwhile, increased by 57% year-on-year to 17 865 t.
All-in sustaining costs increased by 8% year-on-year to $15 323/t for the full-year.
Alphamin's audited consolidated financial statements and accompanying Management's Discussion and Analysis for the year and quarter ended December 31 are expected to be released on or about March 14.
