Project Description
Total life-of-mine (LoM) production is estimated at 99 931 t.

The updated preliminary economic assessment (PEA), released in September 2024, envisages average production of 191 t/y of dysprosium and terbium over the 22-year LoM, representing about 13% of China’s 2023 official production.

Total dysprosium production is estimated 3 420 t and total terbium production at 587 t. Average production of 1 350 t/y of neodymium/praseodymium (NdPr) will contribute to a balanced mix of light and heavy rare-earth elements in the final product.

Total production is estimated at 28 514 t of NdPr. The project is based on standard openpit extraction techniques using conventional hydraulic excavators and 44 t payload haulage trucks to extract and deliver the clays to the process plant. The process plant will have an average production rate of 4 736 t/y of rare-earth oxides within the concentrates.
