TSX-V- and Nasdaq-listed American Lithium has announced the resignation of Simon Clarke as CEO and director with effect from September 1.

He is stepping down to pursue other interests, the company explains.

Alex Tsakumis, who has served on the board since 2022, will assume the role of interim CEO.

American Lithium is engaged in the development of large-scale lithium projects within mining-friendly jurisdictions throughout the Americas. The company is developing the TLC lithium project in Nevada, as well as continuing to advance its Falchani lithium and Macusani uranium development-stage projects in south-eastern Peru. All three projects have been through robust preliminary economic assessments.
