A definitive feasibility study- (DFS-) ready final design has been completed for the fertiliser plant, which has been designed with an initial production capacity of 150 000 t/y and the capability to expand to up to 450 000 t/y.

The design includes the flexibility to produce different fertiliser products.

Latest Developments
FEECO International is finalising fabrication of core plant components, with input on the design having been provided by the International Fertilizer Development Centre (IFDC).

The DFS work has been completed on the final granulation plant and site engineering designs.

Minbos placed the final major equipment order for a chain mill, after Stedman had completed testwork on the phosphate rock bulk sample, shipped to the US in late 2021.

Engineering, procurement and construction management work is advancing rapidly, with detail, scheduling, planning and design works also under way.
