Your customized Powertrain Guarantee CVA offers:

• Guaranteed component life to planned replacement
• Options for dealer labor coverage for all component repairs or replacement
• Dealer tracking and planning to get the right parts delivered when and where you need them
• Timely maintenance to help you achieve up to a 25% increase in expected component life

IS DEALER LABOR REQUIRED FOR PLANNED MAINTENANCE?

Your CVA offers options for do-it-yourself service or trained dealer labor for planned maintenance (PM) procedures. Dealer labor isn’t required as long as you:

• Use 100% Cat parts for maintenance.
• Meet the timing requirements for PM completion and accuracy.

Dealer labor is required for specified midlife repairs within the program guide. Be sure to work with your dealer to schedule required midlife procedures.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE PLANS?

Your CVA is customized for your operation. You can start by choosing between two tiers of CVA services:

• Prorated plans are for off-highway trucks and large wheel loaders. These dealer-led plans include reimbursement of covered components for life not achieved. You’ll have the flexibility to add Cat S•O•SSM Services, condition monitoring and more, as needed. Condition monitoring pays for itself by providing timely alerts and advice, enabling repairs before failure and preventing unplanned downtime.
• Plus plans take your CVA to the next level — with full coverage on rotative parts within the powertrain. These plans require enrollment in Cat Condition Monitoring and Compliance Management, which provides oversight and recommendations throughout the terms of your limited Equipment Protection Plan (EPP).

CAN THIS CVA BE PAIRED WITH OTHER COVERAGE?

Yes. Both the Prorated and Plus plans can be combined with other EPPs and extended warranties. Talk with your dealer and representatives of other plans you already have to see how the coverages can work together. 
 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I SELL THE MACHINE BEFORE COVERAGE ENDS?

Your Powertrain Guarantee CVA is portable and transferable. The guarantee stays with the machine, even if it moves to a different dealer territory or is sold to another party.*
