In an era where technological advancement and sustainability are paramount, Integrated Fire Technology (IFT) is making strides in revolutionising the fire suppression industry.

IFT's suite of innovative solutions exemplifies the synergy between technology and environmental stewardship, the company highlights.

Central to IFT’s advancement is the introduction of the AF-X system, a sophisticated aerosol fire suppression solution, which leverages specialised aerosols to deliver unparalleled fire protection.

AF-X offers efficiency in suppressing flames while minimising the impact on surrounding equipment and the environment. It is particularly notable for its versatility in various applications, including the protection of sensitive equipment like MCCs and battery storage.

Another IFT innovation is the standalone, advanced hybrid water mist fire suppression system, designed specifically for transformer fires, which combines the benefits of high-pressure water mist with hybrid technology to effectively manage the unique challenges posed by transformer fires.

By employing this dual approach, IFT provides a robust solution that enhances fire suppression efficacy while safeguarding critical infrastructure.

In line with its commitment to quality and safety, IFT's solutions, including AF-X and Fogmaker, are certified under Kitemark, BSI, FM, SPCR199 and SPCR198 standards, which ensure that the products meet rigorous safety and performance criteria, providing peace of mind to clients and stakeholders.

Further, with sustainability at the core of IFT’s philosophy, its ECO1 system, for example, is designed with a focus on minimising environmental impact.

Its integration with the Fogmaker system, which requires minimal clean-up, highlights IFT’s commitment to reducing waste and operational disruption.

This eco-friendly approach extends to the reinstallation and migration capabilities of the Fogmaker system, which allows for seamless transitions and adjustments without compromising environmental integrity.

The interoperability of AF-X with other aerosol-installed systems further underscores IFT’s focus on sustainability and efficiency.

By ensuring this compatibility across different fire suppression technologies, IFT facilitates more flexible and adaptive fire protection solutions, reducing the need for overhauls and minimising resource consumption.

“With innovations like the AF-X system, the hybrid water mist system for transformers and Fogmaker, adherence to stringent certifications, and a focus on eco-friendly solutions, IFT is not only enhancing safety but also paving the way for a greener, more efficient future in fire protection,” the company concludes.
