IPR showcases cost effective dewatering solutions
Mining Weekly talks to IPR MD Lee Vine about the recent announcement that Atlas Copco has acquired IPR
Cost effective and agile rental solutions for dewatering will take centre stage at IPR’s Electra Mining Africa stand this year, alongside its quality range of slurry and sludge pumping equipment.
IPR, previously known as Integrated Pump Rental, is recognised across the SADC region as the pump, heavy-duty slurry handling and dredging specialist operating in underground and surface mining, quarrying, construction, wastewater, petrochemical, and oil and gas sectors.
Established in 2015, IPR offers quick access to a range of solutions for rental and outright purchase, optimising ownership costs. The company operates an extensive rental fleet including submersible drainage and dewatering pumps, slurry and sludge pumps, large diesel-driven skid or trailer mounted pumps, heavy-duty slurry handling solutions, dredgers and hydro-mining equipment. This is complemented by a range of accessories such as pump flotation devices, hoses, generators and tower lights.
As the Southern African master distributor for Atlas Copco pumps, these diesel self-priming pumps and submersible units will feature strongly at IPR’s stand. Also on show will be Toyo heavy-duty slurry pumps and IPR’s in-house designed SlurrySucker dredging unit.
Setting IPR’s team apart is its technical expertise and experience which allows accurate assessment of applications facilitating correct matching of pump solutions and ensuring optimum performance.
Skilled support teams provide 24/7/365 service with comprehensive after-sales support, fully customised pump sets and provide any associated infrastructure including maintenance and emergency repair services, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
The company also has full engineering capabilities in-house, allowing it to produce fully customised pump sets and provide any associated infrastructure.
