Jubilee appoints business veteran Khoza to its board
Aim- and AltX-listed Jubilee Metals has appointed Dr Reuel Khoza to its board and announced the resignation of CFO Neal Reynolds.
Reynolds will leave the company to pursue new opportunities after publication of the company’s latest financial year results during the week of September 30.
Riaan Smit, CFO of the chrome and platinum group metals (PGM) division of Jubilee in South Africa will serve as interim CFO until a successor is appointed.
Meanwhile, Khoza will join Jubilee during October. The company says he has a wealth of experience, having previously held various board positions in both the public and private sectors, including at Nedbank, the Public Investment Corporation, Eskom and the JSE.
Khoza’s current positions include president of the Institute of Directors Southern Africa and chairperson of Discovery Bank.
He is also a visiting professor at various universities, lecturing in corporate governance, business leadership, business strategy and marketing communications.
Jubilee has copper, chrome and PGM production operations in Zambia and South Africa.
