Diversified lithium exploration and development company Global Lithium Resources (GL1).

Project Description
In June 2024, GL1 delivered an updated mineral resources estimate, which increased the Manna deposit Joint Ore Reserves Committee-compliant resource by 43%, to 51.6-million tonnes at 1% lithium oxide.

The company is progressing its definitive feasibility study (DFS) for the project, which will incorporate an updated mineral resource estimate, detailed mine schedule, metallurgical and process flowsheet testwork results, as well as detailed operating and capital costs, among other key work streams.

Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
The February 2025 scoping study has estimated a pretax net present value, at an 8% discount rate, of A$2.8-billion and an internal rate of return of 103%, with a payback of 15 months after first production.

Capital Expenditure
The scoping study estimated direct capital costs of A$299.4-million.

Planned Start/End Date
First spodumene concentrate targeted for production in 2026.

Latest Developments
Global Lithium has signed a native title mining agreement with the Kakarra Part B Native Title Group for the development of the project.

The agreement, between Global Lithium wholly owned subsidiary GLR Australia, and the Kakarra Part B group, will support the development and ongoing operation of the project and deliver benefits to the traditional owners.

With the agreement in place, the company can accelerate other project priorities, including approvals and work linked to the optimisation of the DFS and the mining lease application, both due for completion before year-end.
