As a proudly South African design, manufacture and supply company, Merlin Systems supports the electrical panel manufacturing industry by providing key products to various low voltage operations.  

Merlin Systems will showcase an assembled steel enclosure, practical copper support solutions and busbar supports at Electra Mining Africa 2018.

Merlin Systems supplies components and manufactures enclosures to meet South African National Standards/International Electrotechnical Commission (SANS/IEC) 61439 standards and is supported by successful testing at independent laboratories, including kA Testing Facility, IPH and Prof Damastra Lab.

The company supplies low voltage solutions to a number of sectors and applications, including:

  • Mining
  • Power stations
  • Water treatment and purification plants
  • Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning

Merlin’s enclosure system was developed in South Africa, while the internal insulating components were developed in the United Kingdom.

Merlin Systems provides insulated supporting components and designs and manufactures completed assemblies. The company supplies across South Africa and Southern African countries.

It supplies and supports local electrical panel manufacturing companies with its tested systems and components to enable them to use South African products that meet local and international standards.
