Mineral Technologies – Investing in people and relationships
Celebrating 82 years in 2022, Mineral Technologies is built on the passion and vision of our people, who strive to bring innovation and unparalleled quality solutions to the mineral processing sector.
For nearly 50 years we have proudly built a strong local team in Africa. Investing in people and relationships has been key to enabling our continual development of advanced mineral processing solutions.
Across the mining sector in Africa, we have seen a growing need for experienced technicians and engineers to share their knowledge on site with new management teams, and in support of new exploration and optimisation projects.
Over the past year, Mineral Technologies Africa has added an additional 70+ years’ experience to our local team. Our newest team members include:
Paul Albertyn, Lead Relationship Manager. He is focused on working with our key customers, spending more time in person with company leaders on and off-site.
Renier Blignaut, Relationship Manager: Dry Mills. He is a renowned Dry Mill expert, who joins our team after 25 years at Kenmare and as a key contributor in the development of multiple large-scale dry mills across Africa.
Christian van Lill, Relationship Manager: Wet Concentrators. He is the go-to person on our team for any “wet processing”. Christian has held operational management roles at Tronox, Kenmare, and Base Resources.
Heloise Thiele, Senior Process Engineer. With over 30 years of process engineering experience, Heloise has a passion for developing what she would call “metallurgically elegant” flowsheets.
Beatrice Mohononi, Process Engineer and Test Work Supervisor. Beatrice is the point person for every test work campaign that we run in Africa. Her experience at Cronimet, Mintek, and on a variety of other projects has been a great addition to the region.
