Mosaic appoints new CEO as O’Rourke retires
Joc O'Rourke will retire at year-end.
Bruce Bodine has been elected new Mosaic president and will become CEO on January 1.
NYSE-listed Mosaic Company on Tuesday announced the appointment of Bruce Bodine, currently senior VP of North America, as its new CEO, succeeding Joc O’Rourke as CEO upon his retirement at the end of the year.
Bodine has relinquished the title of president with immediate effect and will resign as CEO and board member on December 31, after which he will serve as senior adviser until mid-2024.
Bodine has been elected president of the company and a member of the Mosaic board.
"Joc's leadership over the past eight years strengthened Mosaic," said chairperson Greg Ebel.
"The company today is larger, more geographically diverse, more resilient and in excellent financial condition. My fellow directors join me in wishing him all the best as he transitions to a well-deserved retirement.
“The board has full confidence in Bruce and the other members of Mosaic's talented senior leadership team. Together they will build on Joc's legacy of success on behalf of all Mosaic stakeholders."
