Project Description
Capricorn Metals envisages the development, construction and operation of a five-million-tonne-a-year openpit gold mine, including the processing plant and supporting infrastructure.
The project, using conventional mining and processing technology, will produce an average of 152 000 oz/y over the project’s first 7.5 years of operation, and 1.34-million ounces over the project’s ten-year life-of-mine, with average production of 138 000 oz/y.
The openpit will be mined by a mining contractor using traditional truck-and-excavator operations.
