Northwest Towers, a Vancouver, WA based rugged wireless mining solutions company has partnered with Poynting Antennas Ltd, the Johannesburg, South Africa based top global provider of integrated antenna solutions to bring innovation to RF solutions for the underground mining industry. Northwest Towers is the first U.S. based distributor focused on the mining industry to carry Poynting’s line of antennas. This partnership provides an important inroad for the Poynting mining antenna supply line in the Western Hemisphere.

Northwest Towers sought out Poynting as a partner because of their unique antenna solutions specifically for the mining industry. There has been very little focus placed on the mining industry by wireless solutions manufacturers until now. Of note, Poynting has provided a unique answer to the need for wireless solutions in the underground mining field – the HELI Series of antennas which allow for broadband capabilities deep under the earth.
