With a vision for safety, PAISA Technology focuses on the creation and market distribution of artificial intelligence-based systems that enhance safety for employees, particularly in operations where trackless equipment is used.

In line with this, the company is showcasing its collision avoidance system (CAS), an integrated risk management system for mines, which is suitable for both surface and underground operations.

Developed specifically for the mining industry to protect teams, equipment and infrastructure, the solution is industry tested (EMESRT Level 9 and ISO 21815-2) and proven to be reliable, with its collision avoidance technology setting the standard for workplace safety.

According to the company, 4% of global gross domestic product is lost each year owing to injuries, with a worker injured every seven seconds on the job. Further, 60% of workplace fatalities are vehicle related.

The CAS is fully configurable and adaptable to be site specific and provides real-time predictive proximity alerts and vehicle tracking through web-based reporting, with its sophisticated operator’s aid enhancing operator situational and proximity awareness and reducing incidence of injury and fatalities.

The standalone, original-equipment manufacturer agnostic CAS device features audible and visual alarms, performs detection and perceives depth and distance around corners.

Specifically, CAS, which has a low total cost of ownership, is effective in reducing the incidence of collisions between vehicles and people, vehicles and vehicles, and vehicles and infrastructure.

Among the products offered by the company are collision prevention systems with sensors and HMI, vehicle condition monitoring software, fatigue monitoring systems, and pedestrian alert tags.
