Project developer Perpetua Resources has announced senior leadership changes as it advances early works construction at its Stibnite gold/antimony project in Idaho, ahead of a final investment decision expected in the spring of 2026.

The Nasdaq- and TSX-listed company last week announced the appointment of Jim Norine as senior VP projects, Tim Kahl as senior VP technical services, Dustin Rissmiller as VP human resources and Joe Fazzini as VP investor relations. The additions bring “several decades of expertise” as Perpetua positions the project for construction and long-term operations.

“Our team at Perpetua Resources has always been central to our success,” said president and CEO Jon Cherry.

“As we enter our next chapter, we are focused on having the right leaders around the table to help us bring the Stibnite gold project online, secure American antimony, restore the site and bring new economic opportunities to rural Idaho. We are honored to welcome some of the brightest minds in the industry to Perpetua Resources. They are committed to our vision and ensuring we deliver on our promises.”

Norine joins with more than 25 years of project construction and engineering experience, including senior roles at Hatch Engineering, Ausenco, Sundt Construction and M3 Engineering. He holds a professional engineering licence in Idaho.

Kahl brings more than 30 years of operational and technical experience across the Americas, including senior operational roles at Newmont’s Peñasquito mine and Barrick’s Pueblo Viejo operation. He has served as a consultant to Perpetua for nearly two years.

Rissmiller will lead workforce expansion efforts, drawing on extensive experience in talent acquisition across mining and energy projects.

Fazzini joins after 15 years in capital markets and corporate leadership roles, with responsibility for deepening investor engagement.

Meanwhile, VP projects Michael Wright has resigned for personal family reasons but will continue in a consulting capacity until early March 2026. Perpetua credited Wright for his role in finalising basic engineering, raising more than $800-million in equity over the past two years, and initiating early works construction.

The Stibnite project hosts one of the highest-grade openpit gold deposits in the US and the only domestically mined source of antimony, a critical mineral used in defence applications. Perpetua says the project is designed to combine modern mining with site restoration to address legacy impacts in the Stibnite–Yellow Pine district.
