West Australian gold explorer and developer Rox Resources on Friday announced several board changes as the company adjusts its skillset to develop the Youanmi gold project, in Western Australia.

The company appointed Phillip Wilding as MD and CEO and David Boyd as nonexecutive director, while Matthew Hogan and John Mair resigned from the board.

“I am pleased to confirm Phil’s appointment to the board as managing director. His enthusiasm and drive to deliver on the multiple workstreams at Youanmi since commencing as CEO in October last year give the board great confidence,” said chairperson Stephen Dennis.

“We are also delighted to welcome David to the board and the Rox team. David has extensive experience in the discovery of gold deposits and development of new mines. He brings a depth of management and corporate experience from his involvement with several mineral resource companies and will be instrumental as we look to delivery of a DFS and project financing for Youanmi,” he added.
