Visitors to Electra Mining Africa are seeking advanced crushing and screening solutions that enhance productivity and sustainability, and Sandvik Rock Processing has what they need. The company is showcasing innovations in crushers, screens, screening media, lifecycle services and digital technologies, with its competent team on hand to share technical information and insights.

Sandvik Rock Processing’s integrated solutions combine quality products with lifecycle services, covering the entire crushing and screening process. The company’s focus is on eco-efficient rock processing that drives productivity, profitability and sustainability. The line up on the stand will include a working demonstration screen with digital connectivity, Sandvik screening media and a cone crusher.

Digital technology that boosts equipment performance and longevity will also be highlighted, including the Automation and Connectivity System (ACS) for cone crushers (ACS-c) and screens (ACS-s). These systems connect to Sandvik’s digital SAM platform, which uses data to enhance performance and support, enabling remote condition monitoring and valuable plant optimisation.

The SAM platform offers user-defined data selection for various plant roles, from management to operators. Continuous improvements in condition monitoring include an upgrade from wired to self-powering sensors on screens. Digital experts, from the local operation as well as from Sweden, will be available to discuss the benefits of these systems.

Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions is committed to helping customers achieve climate change goals while reducing costs. The company promotes decarbonisation by optimising equipment to reduce energy use, aiming for a circular economy and maximising resource value through productivity.

The comprehensive offering of crushers, screens, screening media, lifecycle services and digital technologies, along with an extensive support footprint across Africa, ensures proximity to customers with world-class facilities and expertise.
