Success to the power of 3 for Chicago Pneumatic in Zambia

After achieving resounding successes at South African Mining & Technical Exhibitions (MTE) throughout the year, Chicago Pneumatic again took full advantage of the opportunity to display its world-class generator capabilities at the three MTEs in Zambia in September 2019.
“As a proud sponsor of the advanced CPPG 5.5 Kva portable petrol generator for lucky draws at these technical mining expos, we were enthusiastic to once again give away these compact machines to lucky winners,” says Eben van der Vyver, Chicago Pneumatic Business Development Manager - Southern Africa.
“We are confident that these state-of-the-art generators will assist in improving work efficiencies for the lowest total cost of ownership for the users.”
The CPPG generator portfolio comprises 2.3Kva to 14Kva models available in petrol and diesel engines, silenced as well as in open frame variants. This versatile range is ideally suited to meet the diverse requirements of both private and professional customers in the construction, demolition and rental sectors. At home in harsh environments, these easy-to-manoeuvre generators are easily transported thanks to its ergonomic handle design for seamless lifting.
Belgian manufactured, these robust-to-the-core generators consist of a solid main frame which includes additional reinforcement around sensitive components, covered and recessed sockets as well as a protected electrical panel.
Featuring a smart and unique design, these high efficiency generators offer a steady electrical output and AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) for stable operation, enabling the on-time completion of projects. Furthermore, these CPPG generators include a large, reinforced fuel tank for extended production.
Bearing testament to Chicago Pneumatic’s intrinsic belief in delivering safe, ultra-reliable, optimal performance solutions, the CPPG generators have undergone rigorous testing prior to release. Tested for 1000 hours at (full) 100% load non-stop, these generators have received a stamp of approval and give customers the assurance that they are working with superior-quality, tried-and-tested machines.
Customers also enjoy a host of benefits from these premium generators such as energy savings, minimised fuel consumption and an extended service lifespan.
Taking place on 09, 11 and 13 September 2019 in Kalumbila, Solwezi and Kitwe respectively, the Zambian MTEs saw the high-performance tools and equipment specialist up its exhibit ante to engage with visitors and share more about Chicago Pneumatic and its market-leading product and service suite.
At the first MTE in Kalumbila, Levy Mweemba from FQML Kalumbila received his generator prize from Van der Vyver as well as Seth Jansen and Jonathan Burns from Chicago Pneumatic dealer, Lusanga Zambia. Solwezi MTE winner, Mogrey Kunda from Kansanshi Mine was awarded his generator by Van der Vyver and Timothy Nshimbi from Atlas Copco Zambia. Jansen and Burns once again joined Van der Vyver in Kitwe to hand over the Chicago Pneumatic generator to Dariun Mwape Musebo from Mopani Copper Mine.
According to Van der Vyver, these MTEs were highly successful and an invaluable learning experience for Chicago Pneumatic. “We treat every MTE visitor as a potential customer and by interacting with them we are able to gain a deeper understanding of customers’ needs within the region enabling us to fine-tune our generator strategy so that we cater directly to these requirements.”
Powering to a close, Van der Vyver expresses that with only three MTEs left for Chicago Pneumatic to attend this year, the company is going full steam ahead to display its exceptional products, service excellence and customer-focussed drive.
“Through these MTEs we have not only further extended our brand awareness in South Africa and in neighbouring countries, but we have also showcased our solid capability to assist customers in maximising their productivity and profitability potential.” /ends
