Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) has launched a new programme called Associated Accessory Products (AAP).

This one-stop-shop offering will complement the existing array of accessories, enabling customers to customise their vehicles as they wish.

Over the years, Toyota has developed a range of vehicle- specific accessories to cover the needs of its customers, including tow bars, styling bars, nudge bars, side steps and canopies.

It had become apparent, however, that customers wanted more than these vehicle-specific accessories and that there was appetite for accessories that would suit the lifestyle and activities of Toyota drivers, many of whom take part in outdoor pursuits and overlanding.

“To that end, we are collaborating with some of the most respected and popular suppliers in the country, including Ironman 4 X 4, 4 X 4 Megaworld, Front Runner, IVXIVBUSHINDABA and Thule,” says TSAM conversions and accessories GM Aidan Castille.

“We are also thrilled to announce that pricing will be in line with current aftermarket pricing. Customers can order and fit through their Toyota dealer and invoice with vehicle for a one-stop-shop experience.”

The range of accessories available through the AAP programme includes roof racks, cross bars, rooftop tents, roof boxes, bike carriers, fridges, recovery boards, solar panels, battery management systems, roof consoles and more.
