Turnbull appointed chair of Axon Graphite
Axon Graphite, the ASX-bound spinout of Lithium Energy in the graphite asset merger with Novonix, has finalised the composition of its board.
Peter Turnbull, a senior executive in publicly listed, private and government-owned organisations, has been appointed independent nonexecutive chairperson of Axon.
He is joining Novonix nominees Anthony Bellas and Christopher Burns, as well as Lithium Energy nominees Farooq Khan and William Johnson on the Axon board.
Axon also finalised the appointment of Graham Fyfe as CEO and Victor Ho as company secretary. Fyfe is currently general manager for projects of Lithium Energy.
In April, Lithium Energy and fellow ASX-listed Novonix announced the merger of their adjoining Burke and Mt Dromedary Queensland natural graphite deposits into Lithium Energy subsidiary, Axon Graphite.
Axon will undertake a A$15-million to A$25-million initial public offering and seek admission to the ASX as a dedicated vertically-integrated mine to battery anode material product manufacturing company.
