A-OSH EXPO 2026 returns with new opportunities for exhibitors and a stronger focus on workplace risk
A-OSH EXPO 2026 returns to Gallagher Convention Centre from 2 to 4 June 2026, bringing together Africa’s most comprehensive showcase of occupational health and safety solutions. The expo will once again be co-located with Securex South Africa, Facilities Management Expo, and Firexpo, and for the first time, RE+ South Africa will join the line-up. This expanded format creates an unmatched platform where exhibitors can connect with high-quality buyers who are actively sourcing workplace safety, wellness, compliance, and energy-efficient solutions.
“A-OSH EXPO continues to attract organisations that view occupational health and safety as a strategic priority. With rising regulatory expectations, rapid technological change, and growing awareness of workplace wellbeing, exhibitors benefit from direct access to professionals who are planning long-term investments. A global focus on risk prevention has placed OHS solutions at the centre of operational performance, and the 2026 event offers suppliers a highly engaged and knowledgeable audience,” says Mark Anderson, Portfolio Director at Montgomery Group Africa.
One of the most urgent focus areas for 2026 is heat stress. Rising temperatures and more frequent heatwaves are placing workers under significant pressure, especially in South Africa’s construction, agriculture, and mining sectors. International research shows that heat is now the fastest-growing occupational hazard worldwide. Nearly 70% of the global workforce faces dangerous heat exposure[1], and Africa records the highest exposure levels at over 90%[2]. Heat stress is responsible for millions of workplace injuries each year and contributes to productivity losses as high as 50% during peak heat events[3].
Exhibitors offering heat monitoring tools, climate-responsive PPE, cooling technology, training services, ventilation solutions, or environmental sensors will find a market that is urgently seeking guidance. Visitors will also benefit from seeing how heat risk management integrates with overall workplace safety, fire protection, security strategy, and smart facilities operations. As climate-related risks increase, this holistic approach is becoming essential.
Alongside heat risk, A-OSH EXPO 2026 will highlight emerging priorities such as digital OHS platforms, ergonomic innovation, mental health support, hazardous materials management, environmental monitoring, and compliance-driven training. The free-to-attend seminar theatres across all five shows will provide insights into regulatory changes, sector-specific risks, climate-related compliance, and practical strategies for protecting staff in high-exposure environments. These sessions consistently attract strong attendance, offering exhibitors additional visibility and thought leadership opportunities.
The co-location with Securex South Africa, Facilities Management Expo, Firexpo, and RE+ South Africa reinforces the growing convergence between workplace safety, security technology, building efficiency, fire resilience, and renewable energy. Exhibitors benefit from foot traffic that spans multiple sectors and disciplines, while visitors gain a clearer understanding of how integrated systems can reduce risk, improve efficiency, and strengthen compliance.
“A-OSH EXPO 2026 will give exhibitors the ideal platform to launch products, meet buyers, build partnerships, and take advantage of growing demand for safety and wellbeing solutions in southern Africa. Visitors will gain access to trusted suppliers, live demonstrations, and practical tools to support safer, healthier, and more efficient workplaces. Save the date and prepare to connect with the organisations shaping the future of workplace safety.
