Vancouver-based Artemis Gold on Wednesday announced the successful completion of its first gold and silver pour at the Blackwater mine, in British Columbia, marking a milestone in the commissioning phase of the project.

"While still in commissioning, Blackwater's crushing circuit has displayed sustained crushing operations above its prescribed nameplate throughput. The milling circuit is also performing in line with expectations at this stage of the commissioning and ramp-up phase," said president and COO Jeremy Langford.

The successful first pour follows months of construction and commissioning efforts, as Artemis continues to ramp up operations toward full-scale production.

The company said it would achieve commercial production in the second quarter of 2025.
