Astore Africa also manufactures quality plastic pressure fittings and clamp saddles under the AFFIT brand name, which conforms to recognised local and international standards. In 2003, the factory attained ISO 9001 (2000) recognition that was later updated to ISO 9001 (2007).

Internally, the company has committed itself to skills training and the development of previously disadvantaged individuals to ensure opportunities for advancement to managerial levels within the organisation.
