Name of the Project
Beebyn-W11 iron-ore mine project.

Location
Western Australia’s Mid-West region.

Project Owner/s
Integrated mining company Fenix Resources.

Project Description
Beebyn-W11 will be Fenix’s third operating mine in the region. The project has ore reserves of ten-million tonnes at 62.2% iron, comprising 8.3-million tonnes in proven reserves and 1.7-million tonnes in probable ore reserves.

At the planned production rate of 1.5-million tonnes a year over a seven-year mine life, the operation will enable Fenix to achieve the company’s targeted total production run rate of four-million tonnes a year during 2025.

The project includes the construction of a new 17.6 km private haul road. The road will connect Beebyn-W11 to Fenix’s existing operations at the Iron Ridge iron-ore mine and allow for direct haulage from the project to the Port of Geraldton using Fenix’s existing integrated transport logistics solutions.

Latest Developments
Fenix Resources has completed a private haul road connecting Beebyn-W11 to existing infrastructure, paving the way for first-ore shipments next month.

The 18 km road links the project with the company’s Iron Ridge operations and Geraldton port, integrating the project into Fenix’s logistics network. Haulage is now set to start as crushing and screening activities ramp up on site.

Fenix remains on track to reach a group production run-rate of more than four-million tons a year during 2025, combining output from Iron Ridge, Shine and Beebyn-W11.

To support increased logistics demand, Fenix haulage subsidiary Newhaul Road Logistics has opened a new workshop, an office and a wellness hub in Geraldton.
