Mine safety equipment manufacturer Booyco Electronics is embracing the concept of positive disruption to redefine the African mining industry.

In a video interview with Mining Weekly at this year’s Investing in Mining Indaba, Booyco Electronics CEO Anton Lourens discusses how the company ensures that the safety of mine workers remains a top priority amid the disruptive changes in the mining industry.

He also elaborates on the strategies that Booyco Electronics employs to overcome resistance to change within the mining industry, especially regarding new safety technologies and practices.

Booyco Electronics aligns its innovative efforts with sustainable mining practices in the face of industry disruption while also using data and analytics to drive positive disruption in mining operations, particularly in enhancing safety measures.
