Aim-listed Bushveld Minerals announces that all conditions to the disposal of Lemur Holdings have been met.

This follows an announcement in September which confirmed that the company had received approval from the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) for the disposal of Lemur for $100.

As a result of the completion of the disposal, Bushveld is no longer liable for the outstanding debt of about $2.5-million owed to the DBSA.

“The completion of the disposal of Lemur demonstrates steady progress in Bushveld’s strategic intent to rationalise assets with the view of focusing on Vametco as the company’s core producing vanadium asset,” says Bushveld CEO Craig Coltman.

Lemur is a Mauritius-incorporated company that is developing an integrated thermal coal mining and independent power project, in Madagascar.
