Johannesburg Stock Exchange-listed mining company Exxaro, headed by CEO Mxolisi Mgojo, is building the first-of-its-kind digital and connected operation in Mpumalanga province. The R3.3-billion Belfast coal-mine project is six months ahead of schedule and on track to, from next year, begin producing 2.7-million tonnes of thermal coal a year for 17 years. Mgojo is also the current president of Minerals Council South Africa.
