The Future Minerals Forum (FMF) will host a webinar, in partnership with Creamer Media, on December 10 at 14:00 to discuss the development of an international copper traceability standard.

As global demand for clean energy and digital technologies rises, copper has become one of the most critical minerals of the transition.

The FMF, organised by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, catalysed a first-of-its-kind initiative: a project submitted to the International Organisation for Standardisation for developing an international traceability standard for copper, covering the mined ore to metal.

Register here for this webinar, which will unpack how the traceability system works, why it marks a major shift in mineral governance, and what it means for transparency, responsible sourcing, and investment across the African Copperbelt and beyond.

Join us to explore how supplier countries are shaping global standards for the minerals that power the future.
