Aim-listed Goldplat is expecting its results for the financial year ending June 30, 2026, to materially exceed prevailing market expectations, supported by higher gold prices, increased volumes and operational improvements.

In a trading update published on February 2, the company, which operates gold recovery facilities in South Africa and Ghana, providing services to the African and South American mining industry, said the improved outlook for the current financial year reflected stronger operating conditions and improved performance across the business.

Goldplat said the expected outperformance was driven by higher gold prices, increased processing volumes and improved operational agility and efficiencies across the group.

The company added that an operational update for the second quarter ended December 31, 2025, was expected to be announced by February 10, followed by the release of interim results for the six months ended December 31, 2025, by March 17.
