Leon Goosen will step down as CEO of JSE-listed Bell Equipment, with effect from December 31, to pursue another opportunity.

He joined the Bell Equipment board in January 2009 and was the COO from December 2014 until he was appointed CEO in 2018.

Chairperson Gary Bell has thanked Goosen for his valuable contribution to Bell Equipment during his tenure as CEO saying, "Leon has played a pivotal role in driving the success of the group and the board wishes him well in his future endeavours."

A process to appoint a new CEO will be initiated in due course and an announcement will be published once an appointment is made.
