Hexagon, a global leader in digital reality solutions, is leveraging data to boost efficiency, productivity, quality and safety across industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, public sector and mobility applications.

It does this by combining sensor, software and autonomous technologies.

“Our technologies are shaping production and people-related ecosystems to become increasingly connected and autonomous – ensuring a scalable, sustainable future,” the company says.

Hexagon’s mining division solves surface and underground mine challenges with proven technologies for planning operations and safety.

The various mining technologies provide surveying, design, fleet management, production optimisation and collision avoidance capabilities in a single, life-of-mine solution that connects people and processes, reduces costs and improves the safety and productivity of mine sites.

Overall, the division aims to empower mines to connect all parts of their business with technologies that make sense of data in real-time, while integrating, automating and optimising critical workflows that deliver a competitive edge.

Publicly traded on the Nasdaq Stockholm exchange, Hexagon has about 24 000 employees in 50 countries and net sales of about €5.2-billion.
