Hidden champion of movement Parker Hannifin exhibits at bauma 2025

Parker Hannifin plays a critical but often unseen role in powering industries worldwide
A global leader in motion and control technologies, Parker Hannifin plays a critical but often unseen role in powering industries worldwide. From mobile hydraulics to clean energy solutions, Parker’s innovations drive efficiency, safety and sustainability across various sectors. While their components are embedded within machines rather than prominently displayed, their impact is undeniable. At bauma, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for construction machinery, Parker is set to highlight its latest advancements in mobile hydraulics, digitalisation, electrification and clean technology.
In the realm of mobile hydraulics, Parker continually refines its components to enhance machinery efficiency and durability in harsh environments. Their comprehensive portfolio spans from power sources such as pumps to robust hydraulic valves, including the L90 valve, which operates seamlessly under extreme conditions. Digitalisation also plays a significant role in optimising hydraulic performance. Parker’s IQAN Control family offers intuitive and reliable control solutions, ensuring precise operation and improved energy efficiency, Parker Hannifin sales manager for fluid power mobile Marius Horstmann tells Mining Weekly.
“As industries worldwide transition to sustainable operations, Parker provides critical components that facilitate the adoption of cleaner energy solutions. Our technology supports fuel cells and alternative fuel combustion engines through advanced fluid connectors, hydrogen pressure sensors, and filtration systems,” he adds.
These solutions help ensure safe and efficient use of hydrogen, enabling industries to move toward greener operations.
Driving Efficiency with Digitalisation
Parker’s focus on digitalisation and electrification empowers industries to operate with greater precision and safety.
“The IQAN Control system, for example, integrates with joysticks, cameras and other accessories, offering a flexible and user-friendly programming interface. By enabling real-time data collection and system adjustments, these digital innovations improve overall machine performance and reduce inefficiencies,” says Horstmann.
Mobile electrification is another area where Parker is making strides. Their Global Vehicle Motor, coupled with matching inverter systems, contributes to more efficient electric-powered machinery. By integrating these technologies, Parker helps industries transition to more sustainable and energy-efficient operations.
Another key aspect of Parker’s clean technology focus is its commitment to leak-free fluid management.
“In applications such as hydrogen fuel systems, preventing leaks is essential for both safety and efficiency. Parker’s A-Lok connector family ensures secure fluid connections, minimising risks and enhancing operational reliability,” Horstmann elaborates.
Showcasing Innovation at bauma
At bauma, Parker will showcase over 100 products, supported by a team of 90 experts who will engage with visitors and discuss the future of movement technology. A highlight of their exhibition will be an interactive screen demonstration, visually illustrating how Parker’s components power various machines from behind the scenes.
“We are present in almost every machine out there, yet our role remains largely unseen,” notes Horstmann, highlighting Parker’s integral but often hidden contribution to industrial movement. As a “hidden champion”, Parker Hannifin continues to innovate, ensuring that industries worldwide can operate more efficiently, safely and sustainably.
