The mining industry is having to contend with more stringent environmental demands and ever more scarce resources. As a result of increasing energy and raw material prices, sensor-based sorting is gaining in importance as a substitute for or in combination with other processes.

This technology enables valuable commodities in raw material to be cost-effectively enriched, taking the strain off downstream process stages. Pre-concentrated ore reduces mine-to- plant transport, as well as process water and energy consumption.

Sorting specialist STEINERT has brought together all the facts in one Solution Guide called “Sensor-based sorting for mineral processing”. Free Download

October 25th and 26th 2023, Lerato Kotelo, Global Application Manager for Mining at STEINERT, will explain the solutions in two livestreams.
