Aim- and AltX-listed Jubilee Metals has successfully started processing high-grade copper feed material at the Roan concentrator facility, in Zambia.

The material feed grade is in line with management’s expectations, with current feed assays exceeding 1.6% copper, which is about double the grade of material previously processed at the Roan facility.

The endeavour forms part of Roan’s accelerated production plan, with the increased feed grades expected to markedly increase the production of copper units from Roan.

The facility can process 45 000 t a month of material.

Meanwhile, Jubilee has secured the rights to an initial 200 000 t of high-grade copper feed material, with the option to increase the allocation of material, as well as the option to secure long-term feed supply of this high-grade material.

Jubilee specialises in the recovery and processing of metals from previously overlooked resources, such as unprocessed historical waste rock, run-of-mine materials and tailings in Zambia and South Africa.

It currently produces copper, chrome and platinum group metals.
