Aim-listed Kodal Minerals says operations at the Bougouni lithium project in southern Mali, located about 180 km from Bamako, continue to run as usual.

This follows recent press speculation concerning security developments in and around the capital of Bamako.

The company highlights that it recently successfully started trucking of its spodumene concentrate product to the Port of San Pedro in Côte d’Ivoire, carried out by a Malian transportation contractor.

So far, just over 10 000 t of spodumene concentrate has been transported to the port ready for shipping with more trucks arriving daily.

Moreover, management is currently on site for a scheduled Presidential inauguration of the Bougouni project.
