Mining success relies on efficient and cost-effective minerals processing. Mineral processing equipment and services supplier Multotec partners with its mining customers to achieve this vital goal.

Recognised as an industry leader in metallurgy and process engineering, the company has driven technology development in this field for 50 years. Today, minerals processing plants on six continents are reliant on Multotec’s equipment and expertise.

Multotec’s broad global footprint ensures that the company can work closely with its customers to understand their operating conditions and meet their specific requirements. The company’s customised solutions are, therefore, effective in driving process efficiency and reducing operating costs.

What Multotec learns in the field is channelled into a continuous improvement loop, leading to innovations across a range of products, including screening media, processing equipment, wear-resistant lining, mill and scrubber lining, solid-liquid separation and conveyor belt solutions. The company also monitors and, where possible, incorporates Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies into its products and manufacturing processes to add value to customer operations.

Key to Multotec’s value proposition is its in-house test facility, where the company can test customers’ mineral samples through various equipment to prove which is optimal for the particular application. This crucial step helps customers to reduce their process uncertainty and procurement risk in any project.
