Instrumentation solutions designer and manufacturer E Instruments is introducing a combustion gas and emissions analyser for commercial and industrial use, and a sampling conditioning unit for moisture removal at flue gas sampling points.

The E4500-N is portable and specifically designed to monitor the emissions of boilers, burners, engines, furnaces, turbines, kilns and incinerators. The analyser has four gas sensors that detect oxygen, carbon, nitrogen and nitrogen oxides. It has a dilution pump for carbon auto-range measurements of up to 50 000 parts per million and can measure temperature and pressure.

Meanwhile, the sampling conditioning unit helps reduce the loss of sulphur oxides and nitrogen oxides in flue gases before they are measured. To accurately monitor soluble gas emissions from industrial and commercial processes, the flue gas must be sampled and analysed by a measuring device. The presence of moisture at the sampling point can dilute the gas and produce readings that are in excess of 20% lower than the actual values.

The unit is available with all E Instruments’ portable emissions analysers.
