Perseus sustains its operational performance
ASX- and TSX-listed Perseus Mining’s sustained operational performance resulted in a cash and bullion balance of $755-million for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, the second quarter of the company’s 2026 financial year.
Second-quarter production reached 88 888 oz of gold at an all-in site cost (AISC) of $1 800/oz.
The average cash margin of $1 637/oz of gold produced delivered notional operating cash flow of $145-million.
The CMA underground development at the Yaouré gold mine, in central Côte d’Ivoire progressed, with first ore delivered in January, while development of the Nyanzaga gold project, in Tanzania, is progressing, with first production planned for January next year.
Work also progressed on life extensions for the company’s existing mines through resource conversion and drilling activities.
Perseus has maintained its full-year production guidance at between 400 000 oz and 440 000 oz of gold.
The company’s AISC guidance has, however, been adjusted upward to between $1 600/oz and $1 760/oz, reflecting increased gold price assumptions and increased royalties in Côte d’Ivoire.
