Platinum miner achieves 3m fatality-free shifts

Platinum miner Siyanda Bakgatla Platinum Mine is pleased to announce the achievement of three-million fatality free shifts as of April 17, 2024.

 

The miner also has a pocket of excellence at its operations whereby as of April 17, 2024, it recorded the following achievements:

  • Chrome lost time injury free days – 5 526
  • Tailings facilities lost time injury free days – 3 105
  • Declines lost time injury free days – 244
  • Concentrator lost time injury free days – 131
  • Central services lost time injury free days – 164

 

Siyanda Bakgatla Platinum Mines wishes to extend its utmost gratitude to all stakeholders involved in achieving this great feat.
