Western Australian gold miner Ramelius Resources said on Wednesday that it was tracking ahead of its full-year production and costs plan helped by high-grade ore from Cue at the flagship Mt Magnet mine.

During the December quarter, the group produced 85 311 oz at an all-in sustaining cost of A$1 49/oz. The Mt Magnet mine boosted output by 64% on the prior quarter to 67 050 oz, owing to the processing of high-grade Cue ore that started in mid-November.

At Edna May, gold production was down to 18 261 oz owing to the processing of progressively lower grade stockpiles.

For the six months ended December, Ramelius produced 147 755 oz, in line with its guidance of 270 000 oz to 300 000 oz in the 2025 financial year.

The miner reported cash and gold of A$501.7-million in the December quarter, with operating cash flow of A$193.6-million and sector-leading underlying free cash flow of A$174.5-million.
