Name of the Project
Rebecca-Roe gold project.

Location
Western Australia.

Project Owner/s
Gold producer Ramelius Resources.

Project Description
The project will create a new mining hub in an underexplored mining region, which Ramelius plans to take advantage of with its proven hub-and-spoke model.

The mining operations will use openpit and underground mining methods. Rebecca will use an openpit method while Roe will use openpit and underground mining methods.

Gold production will average 130 000 oz/y over the nine-year life-of-mine, with a production target of 1.1-million ounces of contained gold, based predominantly on measured and indicated portions of the mineral resource, with 54 000 oz drawn from inferred categories.

The processing circuit will process the Rebecca-Roe deposit at a throughput rate of three-million tonnes a year.

The tailings storage facility will comprise a two-cell paddock storage formed by multizoned earthfill embankments. The facility is designed to store 30-million tonnes of tailings at an average rate of three-million tonnes a year, with capacity to contain all supernatant and runoff from rainfall and storm events.

Potential Job Creation
Not stated.

Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
The project has a pretax net present value, at a 5% discount rate, of A$448-million at a gold price of A$3 500/oz. Payback is estimated at four years.

Capital Expenditure
Total capital costs are estimated at A$190-million.

Planned Start/End Date
Mining is planned to start in September 2026 upon the receipt of the Environmental Protection Act Part V, targeted for June 2026, with plant construction to start in 2026/2027.

Production is planned to start in July 2027.

Latest Developments
Ramelius Resources has signed a native title mining agreement (NTMA) with the Kakarra Part B Native Title Holders, clearing a key hurdle for the development of the Rebecca-Roe gold project.

The agreement provides a framework for initial development and ongoing operations at the project and is expected to deliver economic and social benefits to the Kakarra Part B community.

With the NTMA executed, Ramelius has said it can now accelerate project optimisation work, statutory approvals and early works, which are targeted to start in early 2026.
