Noting media articles regarding events in Mali, London-listed Resolute Mining has informed shareholders that its Syama mine, located in the south of Mali, continues to operate normally with minimal disruption.

As noted in its September Quarterly Activities Report, the company says it is addressing the supply chain challenges, namely with delivery of fuel and explosives, by diversifying its supplier base and logistics routes.

Resolute, however, acknowledges that the situation in Mali continues to be unpredictable.

“In addition, the company notes that its permits for the Syama operation and exploration activities remain in good standing while the safety of our employees and surrounding community remain a top priority.

“The company continues to monitor the situation and will provide further updates as appropriate,” says Resolute.
