Rimex Supply is a world-leading custom manufacturer of all off-road wheel and rim assemblies for mining, forestry, agricultural and industrial application, specialising in haul trucks and loaders.

In 1994, the South African division was formed, operating under the name Chris Weston Importers. In 1998, it was restructured and renamed SA Heavy Rim Importers t/a Rimex SA, which is managed and owned by Ian Ray and Uys Van Wyk. Today, SA Heavy Rim is a proud distributor of the Rimex product.

Rimex is renowned in the industry for developing the Machined Extreme Service Series and Taper Secure Radial Series of wheels and rims. Having designed a product that is machined for true roundness and has over 100% more steel across the rim in critical areas, Rimex is the only manufacturer to have advanced wheel technology to precisely match modern radial tyre designs.

Aside from wheels and rims, Rimex also offers a comprehensive selection of complementary products to work with their wheel/rim counterparts to ensure each customer saves time and money and has a safer working environment.

The SA Heavy Rim Sales, Repair, Manufacturing and Training facilities are based out of the Middelburg facility, with branches in Kempton Park, Pretoria, the Northern Cape and outlets in Zambia and Mozambique.
