Project Description
The project proposes the construction of a potash operation capable of producing up to 300 000 t/y.
The project has inferred resources for upper potash bed, Cycle 18, of 159.3-million tonnes grading 26.96 % potassium oxide (K2O)/42.67 % potassium chloride (KCl). Inferred resources for lower potash bed, Cycle 18, of 120.2-million tonnes grading 22.60 % K2O/35.77% KCl. Sage Potash will be the US’ first potash mining company to exclusively use sustainable mining techniques and mechanical evaporation, without evaporation ponds.

Sage Potash is advancing permitting and a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) with the support of leading company in potash deposits and mine development RESPEC.
The PEA includes a third-party review of project economics, costs and a summary of already completed cultural, environmental and ecological studies that did not result in any mitigation.
