Project Description
Sakatti is a polymetallic greenfield project containing copper, nickel, platinum, palladium, gold, silver and cobalt. 

The mine design reflects the latest studies, and production profile which is expected to deliver 60 000 t/y to 80 000 t/y copper equivalent production from a state-of-the-art mine design with minimal surface footprint.

In March 2025, the project was awarded strategic project status under the European Union Critical Raw Materials Act, which enables it to benefit from the more efficient processing of permitting applications.

Studies at the project are ongoing, with the latest mineral resource estimated at 157-million tonnes, with average grades of 0.75% total copper, 0.40% nickel and 0.67 g/ t platinum, palladium and rhodium. 

The application for the Natura 2000 derogation is being prepared, with prefeasibility study B completion targeted for December 2026.
