Equipment and technical solutions provider Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions has introduced key technological innovations and advancements in Southern Africa to drive positive disruption in mining operations.

Speaking to Mining Weekly at the Investing in Mining Indaba, Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions accounts and applications manager Southern Africa Sibongile Mtaopane gives examples of how the company’s equipment and technological solutions have contributed to increasing productivity and safety in mining operations in Southern Africa.

With a focus on health and safety, Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions ensures that its solutions align with the evolving environmental and safety regulations in the African mining industry.

Mtaopane further touches on the role of automation and remote monitoring and how these technologies contribute to operational efficiency and process reliability. Southern African mining operations also benefit from having the company’s solutions tailored to their specific needs and challenges.
