One of South Africa’s largest compaction machine suppliers ELB Equipment offers clients the Ammann ARS 122 soil compactor, which is an industry leader in compaction efficiency.

“The Ammann ARS 122 soil compactor – from Swiss manufacturer Ammann Group – provides outstanding productivity and reliability. The powerful engine and heavy-duty hydrostatic drive of the wheels ensures great traction and travel performance at lower operating cost. Standard equipment included with the Ammann ARS 122 soil compactor includes a drum and wheel propel system; operator platform with guard rails; a lockable dashboard with a vandal guard; and a smooth drum.

This comes in addition to manual tilting of the hood, cab and platform; working front and rear head lights; and an engine air pre-cleaner.

Option items that can be added included an Amman Compaction Export; Amman Traction Optimiser; a working speed increase kit; tractor tyres; bio-degradable hydraulic oil; a bolt on pad-foot shell kit; air-conditioning; and a rollover protection structure with or without a hard canopy.
