Tamreikat, where Suricate’s license contains five alkaline intrusions which are associated with notable gold and copper geochemical anomalies.

The Aoueouate greenstone belts, located within the Tasiast- Tijirite terrane, North west Mauritania, which hosts the  KINROSS Tasiast gold mine, which has an estimated reserve of  21 million ounces of gold. This greenstone belt transects Suricate’s Inal license over 40 KM of strike,  where  gold is associated with the BIF of Aoueouate  in a setting of high hydrothermal alteration brecciation.

The company is also engaged in the  exploration for Copper, Nickel and PGE’s on it’s license near Bir Moghre on which a ten km diameter  magnetic anomaly represents a mafic-ultramafic syenite complex prospective for Ni, Cu and PGE mineralization.

Archaean greenstone belts, such as the Tasiast-Tijirit belt, where SURICATE MINERALS operates, are globally recognized for their gold deposits. They have historically contributed nearly 20% of the world’s total gold production, hosting several major deposits.
