Tivan makes changes to its leadership team
ASX-listed Tivan has announced the formation of a new leadership team comprising six senior managers, in a move aimed at strengthening the company’s operational capabilities and supporting its recently announced joint venture with Sumitomo for the Speewah fluorite project.
The team will report to executive chairperson Grant Wilson, who will delegate various functional authorities to its members, enabling greater operational leverage in his role. The leadership team will meet on a monthly basis to coordinate the build-out of operational capacity and drive corporate-level strategic priorities.
As part of the restructure, Jason Giltay has moved into the newly created role of chief commercial officer, transitioning from his previous position as chief financial officer. The company said Giltay’s appointment aligned with its shift towards commercial and operational development planning. “Jason has played a key role in Tivan’s transition over the past two years and will continue to work closely with Mr Wilson on developing and executing Tivan’s corporate and strategic priorities,” the company stated.
Tammie Dixon, who joined the company in January, has been promoted from general manager – finance to CFO.
Further promotions include Michael Christ, who moves from project manager to project director; Brendon Nicol, promoted from process manager to technical director; Dr Ellin Lede, who steps up from head of Northern Australia to chief development officer; and Stephen Walsh, who has been appointed chief geologist
In addition to the formation of the leadership team, the company also announced the promotion of Michael Fuss from senior geologist to principal geologist, Alex Botterill from process engineer to process manager, and Maddalyn McBeath from commercial manager, Northern Australia, to commercial manager.
